I was a master but I'm not sure if I got the last question right. Do pro's
apply foundation with a) fingers b) washcloth c) brush.

I said b) washcloth, but I'm not sure. I thought they used to use a sponge.
I use my fingers which is supposed to be bad, but it's what works best for
me.

Yipee! I got master too (tho I wouldln't have if
I hadn't lived here for 4.5 years) but the question
that baffled me was the first one. I had never
heard that anything could successfully treat
cellulite. I choose apple juice because it seemed
the least weird one.

Flash back scene:
"Whadda get on number one?"

Well, I scored Master--as any self-respecting AFer will also--but chose
coffee grounds for the cellulite question, thinking it was remotely possible
someone uses them to exfoliate . . .

Also, I've read that caffeine is the active ingredient in all those cellulite
reduction creams, so the coffee grounds would provide that.

So do you have to eat them or rub them? LOL

Same here. Cellulite is under the skin, how could application of
anything topical really affect it? I've always heard it's the massage
that goes on with applying creams etc that can have beneficial effects
but I dunno, never tried any of those products.

I also was a little bemused by the apple cider vinegar on the hair
thing, because if someone asked me about buildup on hair I would have
recommended a clarifying shampoo.

I also answered teething ring for puffy eyes, but the answer I really
would have given was 'eye mask' (or perhaps an eye gel kept in the
'fridge), and answered fingers for foundation though brush seemed just
as likely depending on the type of foundation used.

I have used clear vinegar for many years as a final rinse on my (long-hair)
show cats to remove any oiliness or residue left in the coat - and it helps
separate the hairs so they lay nicely. It is an old trick known in the cat
fancy. One would think it also works on human hair.

Preparation H helps reduce the swelling and puffiness under the eyes.

I chose coffee grounds, because of the caffeine, which is an ingredient that
has been used in some lotions and creams that claim to reduce cellulite.

I am a Master, too - at least partially thanks to reading AF!

I got Master too, but I beg to differ here. Most shows I've seen, most
magazines I've read have the pros suggesting using your fingers. They could
stand to make sales (esp those with makeup lines that include a brush) by
suggesting a brush.

Not out to start a debate here as I'm really too sick to do so, but jmho. Even
MA's here use fingers instead.

Curly, the answer was a brush. But since everyone is doing that now (or has at
least tried it) that question is actually slightly dated. The pros are now
into applying foundation with airbrushes.

Master as well, but I was torn between the PrepH and the cold teething ring.
I chose the Prep H.
It was Prep H, but from what I understand the active ingredient that helps
swelling go down in puffy eyes is no longer available in the U.S. version of
Prep H but is still in the Canadian and European versions. The key to choosing
the right answer was that the teething ring was "out of the freezer". Frozen
anything is too cold for the delicate skin around the eyes, and could cause
broken capillaries to appear there. If you want to use something cold it's
better to use one of those gel masks for eyes that are kept in the
refrigerator, not the freezer.

My results follow, but I think just about all AFers would fall into this
category. We're all product junkies!

You're a Master!
Congratulations! You’re the type of woman who has a distinct makeup look and
you know how to achieve it. You don’t need advice, but you do love products.
As for style, we figure you’re fashion forward. We know you know products and
you’re always up for fun and news.

What puzzles me is that I gave different answers from others here on several
questions and we are all still masters. I wonder if it is possible to be
deemed a disaster.

Smokey
It is. My first pass thru, I selected what I thought were the right
answers, and I was deemed a "master".

Then, just out of curiosity, I went thru a second time and selected
what I considered to be totally wrong answers. Well, I was successful:
I was deemed (paraphrasing) "a natural beauty who doesn't care much
about makeup. Although some might consider you a beauty disaster, you
have your own style. But you would probably benefit from a
makeover..."
