Hi all,

I got hooked on Fekkai glossing cream when in the US at Sephora but
can't find it in Vancouver...have you found an alternative to this
stuff? It could be drugstore or another hair care line - salons here
have lots of lines but not Fekkai, unless someone can point me in the
right direction.

Cheers,
Melanie

I find Redken Outshine works every bit as well as the Fekkai. Alternatively,
I believe Sephora now ships to Canada.

I've found Sebastian Laminates Gel to be a great glossing product. If
they're still making it, Tigi Shine Junkie is good, too, but be careful with
the SJnkie to only apply a little bit. I always get compliments when I use
both. Alterna Enyzmetherapy has a Hemp Seed Shine line of products that
produce a lot of natural, pretty, non-greasy looking shine, too. I like the
Shamp., Cond., and Shine Spray in that line and I've even used it in
conjunction with the Laminates Gel and I got great results.

Wella Liquid Hair makes a really great Polishing Gloss, (it's thick like a
cream and comes in a pump dispenser, so I don't know why they call it gloss,
honestly...) too. Expensive, but really nice it they're still marketing it
in salons. I haven't bought the Wella in a while and I know they've come out
with a new line of stuff (in sort of triangular shaped bottles) about a year
and a half ago, so I don't know what all has been deleted from their line
and what's been kept. I've liked *all* of their Liquid Hair products,
though, and they produce great shine without drying me out.

I like the shine part of glossing cream but it's the conditioning part
that I like too. Keeps my hair from looking dry or split.

Thanks for the recs. And if there are any others, I'm all ears. (Not
literally!)
